Zero-Carbon-Ready Building (ZCRB) Certification Scheme – “Super Low” and “Extra Low” Ratings

min read

Langham Place, Three Garden Road, and Great Eagle Centre are proud to participate in the “Zero‑Carbon‑Ready Building Certification Scheme” launched by the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC). At the “Zero-Carbon-Ready Building Certification” award ceremony held on 26 November 2025, Great Eagle Centre was awarded the “Super Low” rating of Energy Performance Certification for the first time, while Langham Place and Three Garden Road were awarded the “Extra Low” rating.

This pioneering scheme supports building owners in conducting benchmarking analysis, reporting energy performance, setting carbon-neutrality targets, and tracking progress — ultimately driving greater energy efficiency and advancing green finance.

Achieving the “Super Low” rating means Great Eagle Center’s Energy Use Intensity (EUI) has reached the highest efficiency standard under the scheme, significantly outperforming the benchmark for typical commercial buildings.

Achieving the “Extra Low” rating indicates that the Energy Use Intensity (EUI) of Langham Place and Three Garden Road has reached the scheme’s upper‑intermediate efficiency level, clearly lower than the benchmark for general commercial buildings.

This certification not only recognizes Great Eagle Center’s excellence in energy-saving technologies, intelligent systems, and daily operations, but also underscores the Center’s unwavering commitment of Great Eagle Centre, Langham Place and Three Garden Road to environmental sustainability. It highlights our dedication to tackling climate change and reducing carbon emissions through continuous innovation and investment.
